Do you give it a fifth? Or do something else at some other point?

I forget if dealer was West or East, but I don't think it matters much here.

3 as a stopper ask for 3N would have been better than X although the outcome may have been the same.

Hi,

I bid game, you could try 4S over 4D, offering partner a choice,
11 tricks is a lot.
If you trust the opponents, they claim to have a 9 card fit, i.e.
partner has at most 2 hearts, so a 4-3 should work.

Thanks all.

Partner had a 2263 shape with 3 Jacks, so 5D was one down. At the other table they stopped in 4D on a similar sequence.
