We're not offering real invisibility. We just use that word because there's no better word for it.

When you're invisible, your friends don't get notified when you login, and you don't appear in the "Who's Online" list. Someone has to look for you explicitly.

We're not likely to change how it works. If you can think of a better word, we could change that.

I would say do away with invisibility. Instead, add a DoNotDisturb button to use while you are in a class, special event, etc. If your friends refuse to honor that, find new friends. If you are bothered by strangers chatting to you at these times, block them.
