Lost 83-36.

So why?

Three missed games (one poor), one overbid game that might have come but didn't, a missed slam, one systemic error, several card play errors, etc..

Opponents did their usual brilliancies - some nice but not obvious defensive shifts, stayed low when its right, things like that.

On the plus side,

1. Barry made a nice Marshall-style 1♠ overcall on KQJ7 xx ATxxx xx which beat a slam.
2. Teammates bid a solid 3N that JEC and Jay missed.
3. We stayed out of a bad game, and defended their partial well.
4. I made a different (IMO) better lead than Benito and beat a partial.

james told me he was having trouble with his mouse on the hand where he gave the wrong response to my Blackwood and we missed the slam.
