I have two strange things to report about the system's display of my rank in a recent tournament (#7684, run at 11:25pm Eastern US time on 10/23):
After six (of eight) boards, I had about a 53% game going. My scoreboard indicated that I was in first place, which seemed unlikely with 53%. In fact, the winner had 80+%, so it couldn't be that I led after six boards.
When I click on "Hands and Results" and then "Recent Tournaments", the table of results says that I finished 2nd in that tournament. Clicking on "Results" from that tournament clearly shows that I finished 4th with 51.65%, behind players with 82%, 57% and 55%. This was a free robot tournament, so there was no post-play adjustment of scores. Why would the results table be inaccurate?

You were 4th overall, but 2nd in strat B. And after 6 boards, you may have been in 1st place in B, which is what it shows in the My Results sidebar. The player who eventually came in 1st in B had a near top on the last board (you both had the same scores on 6 and 7), so he overtook you then.

Ah... since when are free robot dupes stratified? I must have missed the announcement while I was out on sabbatical.

That's a good question. Stratification is usually only of value when masterpoints are being awarded, and free tourneys don't give masterpoints.

This change went into effect sometime between April 20 and August 2 of this year.

It was a mistake, sometime in June; we enabled stratification on some other tourneys, and accidentally included these. It was fixed this morning.
