Playing Bid Club system, many 11~15 ranged hands will be opened 1 (As few as 2 cards up)
14~15 Balanced Hand will be opened 1NT
11~13 Balanced Hand is open 1, despite only having 2 of them, and planned to rebid NT if no four card suit is supported.
However is opener can immediately raise a suit, there could be a variant.

We play circumstances of 1 - 1 - 1/1NT/2 can have fewer than 4 diamonds (11~13 Balanced Hand)
I am wondering how you guys treat the number of diamonds opener has after the sequence of 1 - 2 (11+) - 3

Thanks

Why do you want to know the number of opener's diamonds after he raises clubs? That raise has lost a lot of bidding room so both of you should be looking only at clubs or NT at that point. If responder has interest in diamonds and not clubs, then he should have responded two diamonds (11+).

Straube, I guess the question here is essentially whether one should rebid 3 with, say, (34)24 or 3334 shape. If you always show a balanced hand after 2 when you have it then the 3 raise automatically shows real diamonds. It seems to me that there is more than one rebid structure possible here. For example, if one were to play 2 as a general negative, including balanced 11-13 hands, then 3 would be GF with real diamonds.

I see. We do something like that ourselves...

1D-2C...
.....2D-minimum balanced
..........2H-GF, both minors, either could be longer
.....2H-6+D/4M
..........2S-relays for opener's shape
.....2S-4+ clubs with unspecified shortness,minimum
..........2N-asks shortness
.....2N-minimum, short club
.....3C-maximum, balanced hand with 4+ clubs (2-5 diamonds)
.....3D-splinter
.....3H-splinter
.....3S-splinter
