You said in another thread that after (1♥)-x-(2♥)-x you would expect doubler to show a 4-card spades almost every time he has one. Does that apply here? Because otherwise dbl could lead to a 4-3 fit in 4♦ when a 5-3 fit in clubs is available.

Obviously I can make much better layouts for NS, but this doesnt seem abnormal at all, and on the club lead N/S can make only four tricks. If you pull its hardly better in 4c x which seems fated to be -2.
I just feel like this is not a very good hand. Partner will pass often and I just dont have a lot of defence. If e/w have any shape at all, or we have value concentration, 3hx could be making overtricks. SOmething like
etc.
Just seems like doubling can work out badly a lot, and partner will come back to teh party with a double with 15 and a singleton heart, or so, we not too much danger in passing.

I'm really surprised at these T/O Dbls.
First has a poor shape 12. Even 4144 is minimal
swayed by prime cards.
Second has only S:Qxx in the featured other Major.
Of course if these types are direct action, not
left to a reopen decision later, partner's double
is too aggressive.
Let (2H) P (3H) P be defended. Act directly when
game is on with partner's 9-10.

If you double here, partner's 3♠ should be forcing. This makes life easier on so many hands and it isn't that much of a problem to just bid 3♠ when holding spades and less than a game force. It is not the same as the other thread where you were at the two level. I would not double here because game needs a huge amount from partner and it will be hard to get out in 4♣.

Of course she doesn't and that is the whole point. Many, (most?), min hands will pass, regardless of shape. A second double would show a lot more here.
