I will try x.
Not stated but I will assume we play Walsh which means pard will not have a 4 card major unless gf.

Agree. Short Diamonds, some tricks, and not defined as "takeout" for us. Close second choice pass if feeling wimpy.

I would pass. I would never consider double at IMPs. At matchpoints, double has more merit, but if partner does not have the ♦A, our defensive prospects will be drastically reduced.

If double is takeout you have to pass.
If double is not for takeout, then I have zero experience playing that way but probably would still pass.

Not sure why x should be takeout if pard has denied a 4card major in walshstyle but it makes alot of sense if not walsh.
I would think if we are that strong to make a takeout bid we could just bid our diamonds or clubs again assuming pard is not going to have a major here.

I also pass. If double is penalties (which it would not be for most people) that is more tempting than a take-out double, but it's very much a gamble and I would tend to pass instead.

If you double, partner bids 4♦ and RHO bids 4♠
PS we are W vs. RMP Correction! IMP

Anything but pass is from another planet, I will pass the reopening double if that's what the real problem is.
