Depends on system.

A 2♠ rebid would show a reverse to me; reversing strength and an unbalanced hand. Thus I'd rebid 2NT or 3NT, depending on agreements.
After
1♦ - 2♣
2♠ - 3♥
I'd rebid 4NT.
After
1♦ - 2♣
2♠ - 3♥
I'd rebid 4NT.
Kind regards,

And sit down with most pickups in MBC and any who aren't true experts will think it's Blackwood or even RKC for Hearts. Off course if they respond as it being Blackwood, that may be good !
Uses for 4NT other than Blackwood or RKC really seem to confuse so many in MBC. A couple month's ago I asked an Advanced US pickup who sat down across from me (I just wanted a few hands and wasn't going to be picky) if he wanted any additions to the SAYC his profile said and he replied.."invm,nmf,and Gerber
Hand 1) I am dealt a 4333 20 count and open 2NT and he replies 4NT, and with me almost having downgraded the hand..(flat 20 and poor spots) I pass instantly. Almost instantly he starts chirping about me passing Blackwood !! While playing I type back that you asked for Gerber which is part of SAYC anyhow, and he replies "Gerber is only played over 1NT)
I could go on and on about what has happened from 4NT bids in MBC but to finish all my experiences I'd wear out my keyboard.
Just a caution to B/I here and for those B/I's with regular PD's discuss when 4NT is not some type of Blackwood.

West North East South
- - Pass 1♦
Pass 2♣ Pass ?
Clear 2♠?
Absolutely NOT! 2S would show 5+ D and 4S. It is nice to have some agreements over this awkward auction. Some good ideas were posted here.
