BBO Bridge Master Level 4 A-12 Why doesn't West follow the club suit with diamonds?

Hi,

After I cleared my diamonds, West's clubs and all the spades, I started to use my clubs to squeeze the hearts.

Despite enjoying a long diamond suit, West somehow followed my clubs with one of its precious hearts.

So I'd like to figure out the reason behind this unreasonable move. This isn't what I expect at Expert's level.
