One of my partners finds it too painful to sit in a chair any longer. He needs to be in an easy chair or sofa.
I bought him a cheap android tablet that is sketchy. He often gets a grey screen and must relog in.
I need to find him a proven, not too expensive device, that is proven reliable for BBO.

A different tablet ? A cheap laptop? He has had large medical bills so nothing very expensive.

Thanks for suggestions/comments.

I've been using Amazon Fire tablets for years with no problems.

We haven't updated the mobile app in the Amazon app store in a long time, so it's not currently compatible. You can either use the web version from the Silk browser, or install the Google Play app (it's a little involved, but there are web sites with step-by-step directions) and then install the Bridgebase app from there.

A good android tablet (you know which) costs no more than a cheap laptop.
A decent chromebook costs less than either if he prefers that interface.
Both work perfectly well with BBO so long as the network is first class, which is probably not the case if he currently loses connection.
