Here is a fun hand from last night. Matchpoints. I'll share my start to the auction and I welcome your input at an important juncture. If we can agree on a continuation from here I'll leave it up to you to figure out the play/defence after.

3H I think enough. Partner needs some slack with a 3325 hand too weak for a penalty or simply a real weak hand with 4 hearts.

My partners will act over 2C with anything resembling values.
3H I don’t want to hear 3C

I'm fine with 1D.
Hear 3C.
I trust my partners not to act over 2C without due cause, which includes hands that would now bid 2H holding 4 cards and 7 HCP or so.
3C is an invite to show that maximal hand with a control-bid, with less stop in 3H.
If she comes through with 3S I will investigate slam gingerly, if not then I bid 4H.

I disagree with this. I think 3c should be a bid hand with 4-3-5-1 type shape.

A multi-2♦ comes to mind for this shape/strength. In my case I go via 2♣.
2♣ - 2♦ - 3♠ tells partner what they need to know.
2♣ - 2♦ - 3♠ tells partner what they need to know.

Then you should find new partners. It’s trivial to construct hands with something ‘resembling values’ that has zero business bidding over 2C.
How about Kx Jxxxx xx Kxxx?
What would you like partner to bid over 2C?
