I started making YouTube videos at the beginning of the pandemic. Most of them help club members play bridge on BBO, show how to direct on BBO or show the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the club running.

These have been collated into playlists to help everyone find what they need. Some videos are in multiple playlists, deliberately, as they address multiple aspects of playing or running online bridge.

Playing on Bridge Base Online (51 videos)

This playlist addresses the basics of playing on BBO. Many of these videos are five years old and the BBO interface has changed a little since they were created, but they are still relevant.

Directing on Bridge Base Online (9 videos)

This playlist includes a 15 minute video showing me direct a live BBO tournament. The other videos show more administrative tasks when creating a tournament for a BBO virtual club.

Using EBUScore software (8 videos)

The club has started using EBUScore software and this playlist explains some of the more common tasks, including how to upload results to Pianola.

Using Pianola (7 videos)

This playlist shows some of the Pianola features we use, like its email system for sending emails to specific member groups and uploading club results.

Administrative videos (10 videos)

This playlist includes videos that are specific to how the club is run, for example uploading a fixture spreadsheet to the club calendar or updating the results spreadsheet used for the Betty Kelly trophy. In general other clubs will be less interested in these videos.

If you would like to see additional videos created, or existing videos updated, just let me know.

The Beer Card

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades
