Was down with half the field with this. Upset to miss the club and diamond slams



And before anyone tries excusing. We are talking HCPs versus distributional points :(

yes I could just have bid 6 diamonds but prefer to take it slow and check controls :(

18-22 total points for 3♦ 15hcp and 2 shortage points = 17? I only count 5tp for AJ♣ so 3♦ is an overbid?
But regardless jumping to 6N is barmy as is the description of 17-19hcp with biddable ♠

I can possibly accept a very slight overbid (not much) given it is a GF situation but etc.
