I just tried the basic (now only) version of Dealer here and found that many of my old scripts worked ok: the ones that didn't used the important "tricks" function of Dealer which was supported in the complete version "Dealergib" (since arbitarily disabled).
If that is not the issue then yes, Dealer syntax can be ambiguous and there are some known quirks/ambiguities, I don't have them on the tip of my tongue but see early discussion in this forum. Maybe post a script that failed.
PS. thanks to BBO for renaming this discussion, although I do think that the Disclosure discussion should have been split off rather than suppressed (yes that attempted solution failed, but the issue is important and still needs to be addressed).
