Difficult to show a strong hand with a 7-card suit

With normal distributions it looks like 10 tricks in , but bidding with a bot is never easy.

Perhaps 4 over 2N might have solved the problem, but it seems unlimited

But 4 and 4 looks wrong to me, as the hand is very nice defined by 2N.

This is not an advanced convention B-)

I can see that the bot might be more accomodating, but it seems to me that the root problem is the traditional standard American rebid of 2N with points, which is mildly preemptive (and wrongsiding) if opener is balanced and disastrously preemptive if he holds a single suiter.
