why alert 2♦ MM
West is a robot.
When you play against a robot the program alerts all bids according to the way that GIB interprets the bid - not what the human partner thinks it means.
Here is a link to the GIB system notes: https://bit.ly/GIBsystem
East did not understand the GIB system and bid diamonds because they had nice diamonds.
West is a robot - it is alerting what it 'thinks' the bid means.
2 clubs would mean "I have a 6 card suit"
2 diamonds means "I have both majors"
2 hearts means "I have hearts and a minor"
2 spades means "I have spades and a minor"
The alerts you are looking at are put there by the robot - not by the player.

You are entitled to know the opponents' agreements. Since the Robot can't speak, it is assumed that the GIB card is the partnership agreement. While it could be that East psyched, the overwhelming probability is that they misbid. You are not entitled to know what is in the hand, only what the partnership agreement is. Even if East did psyche, there is clearly no CPU so it would be legal. So I am not completely sure what the issue is from a TD perspective. If you do want a proper ruling though, I would suggest posting down in the Simple Rulings forum, that you can find towards the bottom of the forum list. The TDs there will explain to you in detail precisely why it was correct that you did not get a favourable ruling here.
Out of interest, were you playing with a regular partner here? South's hand and lack of an alert suggest that your agreement was for 2♠ to be weak and natural. But your 3NT call strongly suggests that you did not take it that way. Do you think that your misbids are acceptable but when opponents misbid you should obtain a favourable ruling for them?
Finally, in terms of the play it is a serious error to lead the ♠6 for the first round of spades. This is your only certain entry to Dummy so you need to hold it back to avoid blocking the suit. I would suggest that your analysis of the hand start with this, together with your 3NT rebid, rather than focusing on what the opponents did or did not do. In this way you might actually learn something from the hand and improve a little rather than somehow thinking you did everything right and only got a bad result because the opps and/or TD cheated you somehow.
