An hour ago or so, 20 mins before the start of#133 Womens Fest, the host repeatedly send out encouragements to register but I could not see the tourney listed under All Tournaments. I scrolled through the entire list, tried searching both the name and #133, logged out and in again to no avail. When it started i could see that Aurora was playing and when I selected Join on her profile I started receiving tourney chat although I got the error message "can't join table". But the tourney was still not listed under Running.

I use Android.

Google considers any game with cash prizes to be "gambling", which is against the terms for Android apps, so we have to block these tourneys on Android.

You can see them if you use the web version instead of the app.

They don't give two hoots about apps that violate privacy laws, but they block legal play for prizes? Swell.

Ah right, thanks.

Could tourney organizers be made aware that when they send broadcast chat about tourneys, they have to include "not available in the android app, please use the web client"?

Oh well, I suppose they are aware and just forget it.

Are there lots of pay tourneys that send these broadcasts?

The right place for this info would be in the tourney descriptions, but that's a Catch-22 -- you can't read the description if you're on Android.

Most other tourneys are on regular schedules, I doubt they send out broadcasts for all of them. Women's Fest is a special event.

I doubt it.
