Not sure if this has been discussed. But can you add filtering feature for substitutes for any tournaments. At minimum, it would be nice if one can elect not to sub for team games. Or if the site pings and you reject to sub for a tourney, not to ping you again right away for the same tourney. Best if one can choose which host's tourney one wants to sub for.

Suggestion for being a sub to tourneys

You already can select to just be a substitute in a specific tournament. To be available for more tournaments you would have to go to each tournament and makes yourself available, which is a pain if there is a lot you want to be available for but not all.
I do this but still get asked for team matches, so they must have access to all in sub pool.

Sarcasm is a state of mind

I just find the continual need to know when a tourney starts so one can become a sub is daunting. If they allow one to sign up as a sub before the start of a tourney, that might makes some sense. The current system is just not workable.
I do not mind subbing for a team game. Problem I find is people continually quit in team games. They get a bad result and leave. So one is often waiting for another sub. If one declines the team invitations a couple of times, then one is no longer a sub and have to sign up again. The whole system makes it impossible for one to be a sub for all tourneys.

Out of interest, why would you want to be a sub before a tournament starts, and not just join the tournament to begin with?

A lot of times, one enters the site and there are no free tourneys available. So many tourneys have restricted lists that is making the site less friendly. So one can play against robots in the fee challenge area, I do that a lot. Or one can try to sub just to get in a couple of hands. If the team arena was not so bad, I would sub there. But, in general, the team games are a joke.
