Why are the GIBs hopeless at x contracts, they frequently x with some stray points without any tricks. The GIBs are generally poor programmed in competitive bidding, and seem to take into account only the last round of bidding.
Whenever you x you must be careful with the GIB respnses, and even more so when you show a 2 suiter. One more free bid and the GIB jumps too high.
I see that it is no longer possible to export hands when GIBs have messed up, wonder why.

The GIBs should use the following rules_
1: When you have shown your hand, do not bid freely again.
2: Whenever you have pushed the opponents, never double.

Hello,welcome.
English is not my mother tongue, but I know " idiotic " is not a good word on the BBF.
We should know the courtesy is a must.

hi Abelsborg, welcome to the forum.

I think you should give an example. We all know that GIB makes many idiotic bids but if you could give a concrete example then maybe it could move things forward.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Hi, Abel. Welcome to the forums.

As a native New Yorker, it doesn't appear to me that using the word "idiotic" in this context comes even close to violating the TOS.

In the sentence below, are you talking about Send GIB Report?

Since this is the last hand OP has played, I'm gonna guess it's what prompted the post:

The final double is justified in part by his partner's announced 17 HCP and 18-19 TP, which is a lie.

We should I think not be complaining about the double (at least not on this hand - certainly on others) but about the requirements for 4S.Put that right and perhaps North won't be doubling 5H
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Well, it's kind of close requirement to

Uncontested
1M - 2M
4M

Despite 1M where it promises opening hand responder's values are almost the same ( 7-10 vs 7-9 in the diagram ).

Anyway, note taken for polishing the explanation of some lower range. like 15-18TP or similar.
