My partner and I want to practice bidding certain types of hands. Is it possible to play against a couple robots and generate, say as an example, 4-4-4-1 hands in the North ?

Login -> start table -> start a bidding table and type in your two names in the screen ( to reserve the seats) and click the 'Start table' button on this table
The table will open.
Click the ROBOT button on the East/West names to park 2 robots there.
This will allow u to practice random hands.
To constrain the hands, u have 2 choices, both found in the DEAL SOURCE button. Click it. In there, you can constrain North , South, etc ( to a limited extent). when done, click CLOSE, then REDEAL as usual.
If you need to do something fancier than the constraints seem to allow, you have to click the ADVANCED tab and supply the constraints in a very specific language. a bit of a pain but if u post what u need, we can help.
Your original 4441 can be handled w/o needing to use the Advanced tab.
