IMO Double = 10, Pass = 8. 5 = 7, 5 = 6.

High level MP x are usually for penalty simply because scoring 50
more points than the field is worth a ton of MP. Therefore I would
choose X at MP.

IMPS is a different game where getting the most out of ones cards is
a ton more important than at MP. Risk vs reward at these colors also
plays a significant role in the decision making process. The small imps
gained for playing 5c x is outweighed by how much damage the opps can
do to us if we bid at the wrong time. This hand is just a bit shy of
wanting to make any bid here at IMPS especially since I am not even
"sure" we can beat 5c. Pass at imps but if p can take an action in
4th chair I will have to strongly consider putting us in a 6 level
contract.

Dbl. I'll be happy with anything pard does.

Bidding a suit here is too unilateral.. odds are considerable that you pick the wrong one, even if you bid, say 5NT pick-a-slam.
