Congratulations to phil_20686 who has been selected for the Scotland team in the Camrose Trophy in January. In which event he will face franceshinden and jallerton, amongst others.
Although he has numerous junior caps this will be Phil's debut for the Open team. Good luck!
I should add that we'll all be able to follow the adventures of Phil, Frances, Jeffrey and others on BBO Vugraph from Belfast over the first weekend in January.

Phil's team must have one of the widest age ranges of any representative team.
Well done for being selected, pity you aren't going to win.

Alex Wilkinson, Phil's partner, is the youngest on the team but this is still a pretty old team compared to recent Europeans and Olympiad where teenagers played for both the Open and Women teams.

Yes, so Scotland have a university student and someone who played their first Camrose match in 1968. Impressive.
