4, pard has to have a fit somewhere and as long as we find it we have good chance to make 5 opposite nothing.

If I bid 4C now, do you think partner will know my shape?

You cannot bid 3D with this shape ever, you had an easy double of 2S. Now we have no bid that describes our hand other than 4C I guess, which precludes defending 3Sx.

-4, good result but double is a much better bid.

Absolutely correct about the easy double of 2S. Sometimes, we get lucky when we make the wrong move. This could have been one of those times. With a four-club bid now, South might take a view that you have what you have, and bid 6. And the miracle would be that you are declarer instead of South. No Club can ever be put on the table by the opponents, and the contract comes home.

Even lucky from the other side, since the high hearts will drop.

I'd DBL again, all u need is a 4 or 5 card suit from pd to play somewhere even if he has 0 hcp. If he passes u have quite a good hand to defend as well.

Pd may have 5, if he has only 4 then he either have 3 card fit or a 4+ minor suit.

The dbl of 2 could be just shape and/or power. Dbl 3 now to show both. If pard passes this (but they won't here), they ain't makin it.

Give pard a 5-2-3-3 worm and it could be our last plus.

I mean I agree, but he was actually the nuts on this hand, 5S is down 2 on routine play. I think it's east you want at your money game.
