Your partner has 6 ♥ and weak/preemptive hand. He saw the dbl of 5♦, and really there is nothing extra in your hand - if at all doubleton ♠ is a minus (partner might hope for single when considering sac). Opps on the other hand are bidding a game hoping to make - I am not sure they will. I am just glad we pushed them to 5, pass and hope for a plus score.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

X?
Followed by a spade lead.
If you dont make the penalty X now, ask yourself, why did you X
5D bid the round before.
If you though, you may beat 5D, but dont believe in beating 5S,
pass in the pass 5D gets passed out.
With kind regards

Agree with X, but why the spade lead? I'd lead a heart, cashing partner's presumed HA and forcing declarer. Most people play XX as denying a fit so North has at most 2 spades, so South is probably 55 or 65, so will likely finesse spades. Your diamonds are so long/good that South can't ruff them all out.

partner has a yarborough, partner didn´t open 2♥ nor 3♥ with 7 cards there, but he preempted over the XX, he made them reach the 5 level, but its hard to see how that can be enough.
Its close between passing hoping for 1 down and bidding 6♥ to defend. At IMPs its clear to pass since 500 ain´t a big deal as a defence, but its awful when we have +100, at MPs its closer.
