You hold
KQT9
KJ976
AQ54
void

on 4th seat, third seat open 1, what's your choice?

Describe it if you think the answer depends on vul, MP/IMP, strength of opp, etc.

Also describe(if exist) a similiar hand that you'll make different decision.(e.g. if this card becomes that card I'll bid this instead of that.)

Obvious 2 to me, same regardless of vul or scoring, though it would be somewhat less comfortable red vs white.Assuming that the bidding style is such that partner would pass a balanced 10 count in second seat,
I can visualize 3NT if partner has clubs stopped, or 4 if he has support and that sort of hand. If he is a bit weaker our defense in spades may allows a profitable double of 3. The hearts are hideous for a 2-level overcall, but I really don't fancy passing and no other call makes sense.

I like overcalling, of course it's dangerous with a suit like this and this holding in RHO's suit, but our hand has enormous potential opposite a fit so the reward outweighs the risk imo.

I would bid 2.
I don't like overcalling on moderate suit , but sometimes the hand is too good to pass, and no other action makes sense (surely not Dbl or 1NT) , and besides my suit is not THAT bad...
