I vote soft lob over goalie's head. This doesn't always work (of course) but it works surprisingly often against goaltenders who play far out of the net (like this one appears to do). And it's really embarrassing when it goes in. The goalie may quit from pure embarrassment if you score this way. :)

In the 7m-throw situation the goalie has more chances to save if he doesn't stay on the line.

This tricky throw over the head is not so easy as it looks like. It requires the perfect feinting and a fine handoff technique. This way to throw is not so rare in professional handball. And there is really no reason for goalie's embarrassment.

I voted for the high and right under the assumption the goalie's right handed...

It sucked.

I kibitzed my team during the training hour today, made a few throws, the first one (that counted) got our keeper Slobo with the leg. Damn, still can throw only with a half of normal power.

Post Scriptum:(((

Tomorrow is my last handball match ever. The Doc said simply: Finito.
It will be a sad day and hard time after that... when I will be able only to kibbitz my playing friends.

Low, middle, under the goalie's jumping legs depending on the height of the goalie!

Finally remembered to ask sister how she liked it (some years in national (amateur) league, frequent choice at throwing 7m):

She stood side facing the goalie, then turned to face her as part of the throwing movement, took glane of where the goalie was

If near the goal line, she liked high, left corner (goalie's right).

If the goalie took an advanced position, either soft lob or low, to bounce past the line of goalie's feet.
