Have you ever bid 1S-2S, 6S? What hand was it/what hand would you do it with?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Yes, it was a 2-suiter. I really wanted to bid my 2nd suit after the expected lack of support from partner, but then he supported.

I've also bid 1 (Dbl) 7

I go through baby 1430 first, but yes I have... I had AQJxxxx KQJx A x, partner had Kxx Txx Jxxxx Ax. This is close to the ideal imo, except for maybe AQxxxxxx AKxx x - or something.

I have had 1 (Strong) - 7NT! Partner had 25 points and figured I had opened "light"

Reminds me of one of my all time favorite hands some 20 years ago. Holding void KQxxxAKQxxKQx I heard partner open 1 and next hand overcall 1. I bid a calm, confident 6 and all passed. We were cold for 7 and partner (more experienced than I) reamed me a new one for missing the grand. Then we looked at the recap and found we had an icy cold top . . . everyone else was defending a spade sacrifice: 7 only went for 800. Yes the other opponent should have bid 6 over my 6 but he was on a guess and guessed wrong. Going slowly could have only helped his judgment.

I would do it with a hand that is hard to describe otherwise, AND which is a poor candidate for a grand slam. I once had 1C-1H-6H. Made six but it was partner who bid it.
