NS were unfavorable at mps and the bidding went:

1-p-1-(2)
3-(4)-4-end

A-small-small-small
A-small-small-small
-small-T-K

Over to you. Opps don't know what their carding is, they are quite clueless in fact.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I think I'll finesse in spades, I'll lead the Jack in fact.

No genius here. I would just finesse the spades. I try low to the queen to guard against the singleton K to my left. I'm pretty confident that righty has the last diamond, so I not so afraid of the handling problems, should west have a small singleton spade instead of the king.

What?

I mean, LHO is doing one of two things.

Either he has a doubleton diamond, like it seems, and is waiting for a diamond ruff when the spade finesse fails, or

He has the spade King and is providing a ruse to get us to play for the drop.

What, am I supposed to think RHO signals wrong, and LHO is pulling a rus on me, and RHO bids on air?

Spade to the Ace for me.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Before internet age you had a suspicion there are lots of "not-so-smart" people on the planet. Now you even know their names.
