Merry Xmas Wayne and Ron (do you celebrate chistmas Ron?)

I wish that the old fat guy in red suit gives you the presents you asked for.

Merry Christmas to all.

And, as my wife's ex-husband added in a card he sent to us, may you get everything you deserve!

Merry Christmas. May the New Year bring peace, tolerance, of course better contracts, and fewer misunderstandings.

Merry Christmas everyone.

It's not going to be such a happy time here, as my family has imposed a no-presents policy for those over 18. Of course, not receiving all the rubbish we normally get is a relief, but I do feel that it has started this year just because my perfect present has just become available (NASA giveaway) and my family are a bunch of Scrooges.

But Merry Christmas anyhow to everyone who celebrates it, and happy times to everyone else. ;)

Merry Christmas to all of you.

Espacially to Helene for her wonderful and pleasant attitude.
And to Frances for sharing their bright inside in the game and the rules with us.
To the nicest Csaba I ever met.
To Adam who is great in finding and explaining the reasons behind actions.
And to Paul, who makes clear statements and asks so great questions.
To Wayne, who has such a special humour, no sane poeple will understand him. I do.
To the other Wayne, who has a different view to many problems then our normal everyday experts. Which helps me to improve.
To MikeH, one of the brightest atheists I know. Of course he is wrong, but in a convincing way. I guess he can convice unuits to buy a fridge.
To Josh whose talent for words is immense. Especially his "2 wtp?" helps me to improve.
To Han who gets older twice a year and wiser even quicker.
To Arend. One of us plays the role of the ugly German. The other lives in the US.
To Ken, one of the weirdes theorists on this planet. Nice to see so non- mainstream ideas. In ancient times, the genius of many wise man was not seen till... well your time will come.
To Gonzalo, the spanish spirit with the seldom gift to admit his (few) mistakes.
To Michael swedish and bright.
And to UWe, who shows that there is intelligence even in the eastern part of Germany.
To Gerben for his smiles whenever we met.
To Kathryn, who has the nicest way to ask questions and is even nicer when she plays.
To Andy, a real english gentleman and great player.
To Jan for her insight view of the ACBL.
To Richard for his fight against windmills for the life of a mosquito.
To Tim for very short and well pointed remarks.
To Justin, he had been a great part of this. I miss him.
To Matmat the greatest kibitzers of all times.
To Ben for spending so much time and power in the BBF.
To Roland for giving honour to people with this name.
To Fred. I know there had been a kind of life before BBO exisits. But I do not want to live that kind of life again. BBO and BBF is such a big and satisfying part of my live. Thanks for that.

And to all the other Mikes, Rogers, Tylers, and all others who makes this forum so special.

Have a nice time and I hope to meet you at the table when these family days are history.
Kind Regards

Roland

Merry Christmas from Falls Church, VA (I noticed y66 is from these parts potentially). My prayer is for hope and joy to radiate into each and everyone's life with the singularly life-changing event that is the birth of Christ.

In my family, Christmas Eve is the day we come together and forgive each other in love, similar to Yon Kippur for our Jewish friends (I think, someone check me). So, I forgive those who have caused me anger and hair pulling and scorn, and let us be of good cheer this day.

Now, the Christmas "shoutouts":

To Fred, for your dream has become realized. Blessings to you, Uday, and Sheri.
To Roland, for making VuGraphs fun, entertaining, and a learning experience. Blessings to you.
To Larry Lowell, for being not only my great friend, and great bridge player, but simply, great. Many blessings and love to you and Nancy.
To Angela and Allan Ferguson, life is not the same after leaving Nanaimo. I will return, I promise. My love is yours always.
To Frank and Leo Caudillo, for bringing me into the NVBA unit and making me comfortable.
To the my lady friends of BBO (Beaner, Ann, Suzelbee, Playa1, Ana, Helene, Sybarra, Dianas, Anna, and others), thank you for your grace and charm. Blessings to you and yours.
To my guy friends (jmc, Gerardo, KC_Steve, Nik, Steve-o, and others), a good beer choice is never far away.
To Mikeh, God your insights are deep, even tho you're an atheist.
To Phil Clayton, one day we'll meet, and actually play bridge darn it!
To Ben, you're too far away now man...
To Gerben, Han, Arend, and the youth movement - I'm old. Damn.
To Patsy and Jeff Parker, your friendship and love is truly without limits.
To the Valley Bridge Club in Baltimore, everytime I drop in, I am welcomed as a long, lost son. Thank you for healing me after my divorce, and for reminding me that true love is genuine and sincere.
Lastly, and most importantly, to the love of my life, who inspires me to overcome daily. The joy in my heart overflows. Darling, thank you, for being you.
