I was sorry to hear a great American passed away. Milton Friedman. He is the father and father-in-law to friends and great bridge players and a BBO forum poster.

Many of us studied about and from him in school years ago.

He is definitely considered one of the greatest economists of all time. He will be missed.

Agreed.

I never got to meet the senior Dr Friedman, but I knew his son pretty well back from my days in Chicago.
(Of course, I knew him as "Cariadoc" rather than David, but thats another story)

Very nice family.
Very sharp folks.
