How to improve BBO for TDs I just started but...

I just started TDing on BBO and I have ideas for improvement. I would like if others TD would make some feedback for this.
Improvements:
I1. Could be the TD-caller flashing when arriving at table?
I2. Could be the player, who should bid, somehow visible? (I nearly substitude another player...)
I3. Could be in the tables view visible which tables are playing, finished, have problems, are slow? I think that different colors should be great. Tables that have problems are with red or with large delay (someone thinking or not responding, or red dot...). Slow tables could be those that are 3 cards after average (= they may require some TD supervisory).
I4. This is connected with I3 - is it possible to make the tournament status more accessible - just one button or so? If I3 is implemented, this point has no sence.
I5. Individual + Survivor together - now it is not possible.
I6. Is it possible to make some welcome/end makro "welcome all...."? If not could this be implemented?
Questions:
Q1. I made 48 pairs & survivor 30% tourney. There was loged in 48 pairs but first round had just 22 tables. How is this possible?
Q2. For what is the board history good?
Q3. How can one player have "no information available" instead of profile?
Q4. How to make survivor cut also in the first round? Or it makes no sence?
Q5. How is the survivor rounding, 15% of 9 is 1 table? Remembers it that next round there could be larger cut (this round was 11, so we have 4% for next round...), or it is still 15%?
Q6. What mean the barometer option? I thought that barometer is that you know the results during tourney... (but you always know, don't you?)
Q7. How to set "start when full". Or how to make it? Edit tourney start in 0 min?
Q8. How to enter tournament rules? What to write there (what is common to write there on BBO)?
Q9. What is the reasonable followup for substitution at pair events? Wait until someone calls? Or ask the partner if he accepts some sub...
I think that this is all. May be one more thing:
Could it be possible to have online laws with bookmarks (<A href="law.html#here), so if some player doesn't agree with me I can send him link to laws - they usually don't know them...)..
I would be glad for any feedback to this questions and improvement ideas.

I2. It is, the background in the name of the player is different than the others.
Q1. 2 pairs were not complete at start time (people logged off), so they were discarded. You can discard them before the start, so other people can register.
Q4. I think there is no way at this point.
Q6. Yes, that's right. If not enabled, players do notr know how their results compare till the end.
Q7. No way, must edit and change starting time, as you say.
Q9. That's for you to decide. I like(d) to get permission from partner before getting a (permanent) sub; can wait indefinitely, getting A- on the road. Others wait a bit, then sub without asking. Others allow sub to return.

When a TD wants to look up the boards played by a player in a running tourney. For NS, it is easy enough to go to the table and click MOVIE. For EW, harder; this command tries to address that.
Q3. How can one player have "no information available" instead of profile?
Any player can choose to make his own profile private.
Q4. How to make survivor cut also in the first round? Or it makes no sence?
No way at this point. Deliberately so.
Q5. How is the survivor rounding, 15% of 9 is 1 table?
Minimum cut = 1 table unless it makes the T too small (program's choice) to be viable. SImilarly max cut.
Q8. How to enter tournament rules?

Most TDs leave this blank. You are in charge of your T. You dont have to say anything.

I am also very new TD. One of the reasons I wanted to be a TD was curiosity about the TD software on BBO. I must admit that I am quite impressed by TD software as a whole and by some cute features like board history in particular. However, some features are not exactly like I imagined them before.
In response to Miron:
Q2. I use board history for adjustments and also when I get a tip that a player bids or plays "funny", eg. overbids on purpose. I may follow accusations like that to see if such behaviour was consistent or a personal revange or something else that would deem this players undesired in my tourneys. I am giving top mark to the board history feature.
I1. It is easy to work out who called after you hit YES button, from the message in the chat area. But you are losing the text on the call pop-up. Also often you get 3 calls from the same table and dispose of 2 of them on the spot, losing all info provided in them.
Before I became TD, I thought all TD calles were added to the chat or perhaps there was a separate rolling "TD call board" where each calls would have buttons like ATTEND, INACTIVE or DELETE.
I3. Again, I imagined a bit more, something similar to what Miron described.
I thought that when you were a TD, table view was enriched with more information: board number, completed/not, time of last bid or card added + next player's name, red dots on players etc etc.
I run unclocked tourneys and it would be useful to know who is waiting for the slowest table in each round. Personal apology to them could prevent leaving the tourney by impatient players who think that "something is wrong with BBO". This is particularly important when I am playing.
Alternative, add completed table numbers to status summary and increase number of table numbers from 5 to ??? more than 5

I6. I copy announcements one by one from open Excel file. I believe some TD's have more sophisticated software that allows them to send few messages at once. How is this done?
My own:
Z1. How can i remove someone from the sub list or (preferred) reorder the list? If the top sub rejects, it takes few goes for BBO to ask the next sub, or so it appears to be. Am I doing something wrong? Is typing the sub's name in the appropriate spot on the Tournament Management panel really bringing them in without asking??
Z2. How can I boot a player without subbing him? I had a, possibly drunk, player who was making rude racist remarks on tourney chat. I could not close the chat because I was playing, and I had no subs. I would have been happier with a sitout. Is it possible?
Z3. Can we have services of auto translator from English to native language of each player, for all TD announcements? ONLY KIDDING

Can't , sorry
Is typing the sub's name in the appropriate spot on the Tournament Management panel really bringing them in without asking??
No, you can type in any name. name does not have to be on sub list. the name is asked if it wants to sub.

N. must sub or leave him as 'red'
Z3. Can we have services of auto translator from English to native language of each player, for all TD announcements? ONLY KIDDING smile.gif))))) ♥♥♥
I wish!

If it´s not important to win, tell me, why do they keep records?

Instead, the best policy is to wait 2 or 3 minutes. Within this time, most of them have arrived. After that, some other player at the table where an inactive player blocks everything will call you and you can sub the inactive player.
Of course, it would be easier for directors if the software automatically subbed an inactive or offline player after some time that could be specified by the host when creating the tourney. In cases where the connection is ok the player in question could be warned short before the subbing, and he could click a button if he is just thinking.

Can this be implemented in some future version of software?
Table view of tourney:
Different colors for playing and finished and problematic (red or red dot) (and slow tables - but this is not that important).
Thanks

Your complains are probably too late. This is what Fred wrote recently:

Not only logged off, but also playing another tourney. I asked several times the possibility to unregister such pairs, but still impossible

I'd settle for, when I put my mouse over a table, it shows me the board number, time remaining, and anybody who's red dotted. But yes, having to go through every table to see who might be getting into trouble is a pain.
